BEING
A KING

Sponsored by
BACO & Mead Public Library

In partnership with the Mead Public Library, Sheboygan BACO will be celebrating Martin Luther King Jr. Day with a family-friendly event  intended to engage our community and honor the life and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr.

MLK Day is a federal holiday in the United States, celebrated on the third Monday of January each year. It honors the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., an influential civil rights leader who dedicated his life to fighting against racial injustice and inequality. The day is often marked by community service activities, parades, and speeches that reflect on Dr. King's impact and message of equality for all.

Children and their families are invited to participate in fun and educational activities, including arts and crafts, storytime, Lego play, and a service project, all while celebrating Dr. King's values of peace, love, and equality.  This annual event is open to all families in the community and offers a wonderful opportunity to come together and learn from our past.
